Mobile Communications

Here in Great Western Land, communications are a little slower than in major towns and cities in more metropolitan zones. We don’t enjoy double digit download speeds and quite often our mobile phones say ‘no Service’ and for data sometimes ‘G’ or ‘gprs’.

All of this may be about to change though as my phone just received a text message from the carrier that 4G is going to be installed in this part of Great Western Land.

Must be embarrassing for ISPs since 4G is significantly quicker than the broadband speeds available here.

Can’t help wondering what ISPs will do. . . nothing probably – milk the cash cow etc.
