Brexit Is Going Well

Brexit Voters Will Be Pleased With This

Many avid readers of this site will no doubt be aware of our view of Brexit. Brexit is a complete disaster, the result of a negative election strategy taken on by both Brexit and Remain parties.

No one in the UK expected the result to be in favour of Brexit. Many in the UK would like a re-vote but of course that would undermine the entire democratic process and principle so must not happen. This is despite Brexit being widely accepted as the wrong answer.

Many voted Brexit because they did not like the way the Europeans were taking away UK jobs. This is despite the fact that a lot of UK workers are too fat and lazy to do manually intensive and largely agricultural jobs. In a BBC report, The UK workers had a go   and did as well as we expected. Would the UK workers do this as a full time job?  No!

Not good news if you like cabbages, let alone asparagus tips and anything else that can’t be mechanically harvested.

The good news is that a lot of the food produce which is hand harvested is high in carbohydrates so in the future, should we fail to get sufficient labour, the UK population will have no choice but to reduce carb intake. A leaner population? [We will see if this becomes a political stance – Ed]

Going back over tired, old and obvious ground, the exclusion of EU labour will have a detrimental impact on our lives though not in the way the Brexit voters thought. Of course stating the obvious, most immigrants to the UK are from outside Eurozone. This apparent failure of Brexit voters to grasp the most basic of concepts must be painful to them but not as painful as today’s bit of news.

Yes indeed, the [sarcasm] forward looking government [/sarcasm] is having  Passports Made in EU It is well known government policy to continually look for ‘Best Value’ and we assume that the offer from the organisations concerned represented best value. In the interest of the direction provided by the voting public to the government this doesn’t seem to follow the voters’ wish to leave the EU.
