Beer and crisps used to help tackle climate change

Good News At Last

No GREAT news.

It seems that not only is drinking beer and eating crisps a great way to loose a cold wet Saturday afternoon but that it is environmentally friendly to do so.

Indeed, the creation of fine beer and excellent crisps can now become much more friendly to our precious atmosphere.

The down side

The production of ‘waste gasses’ from mammals tends to include a lot of methane. Practical experience would suggest that consumption of beer and crisps ultimately leads to methane production.

The world of physics and chemistry is such that you don’t get something for nothing and sadly whilst the beer and crisp manufacture may now have a reduce CO2 footprint…. the consumption may undo some of that work.

Of all the greenhouse gasses nasty old methane is way up there on the most not wanted list.
