NASA Sends Software Update Over 12 Billion Miles to Voyager 2
The voyager probes have to be the most endearing space crest ever launched.
Designed to do a “Grand Tour” of our solar system looking at the outer planets, they have gone on for over ten times their planned lifetime.
Even now, Voyager 1 and 2 are sending back information that surprises modern scientists.
Like any old machine though, they do need a bit of maintenance from time to time.
What is really impressive here is that the signals received from the voyager probes are so small yet we can detect them.
