York – Apparently the real capital city

Well according to the locals.

It seems that Yorkshiremen and obviously women are fiercely patriotic for Yorkshire..tell them your from Manchester which was a lancastrian city and they change colour from Viking blond to spray tanned orange/red.

York is a great city. According to some alcohol fuelled locals it is the proper capital. It is busy but compared to Manchester it is quiet and all the better for it.
