It simply went on and on… and on about what it was and what it intends to become. Sounding very much like a talking PowerPoint presentation the robot stated, rather rhan disxcussed, where it sees useful robots being deployed.

Caring Robot

The saying “Science Fiction becomes Science Fact” is bandied about a lot these days what with smart watches from an early Thunderbirds episode to super fast computers and artificial intelligence. This time round though it seems the film industry has had a hand in science fact yet again.. the concept of this robot is nothing new.

Have a look at “Robot and Frank”, a film about a near future aged person being tended to by a socially aware  robot.
