Nasa’s New Horizons: ‘Snowman’ shape of distant Ultima Thule revealed

Well a little later than normal this site has picked up the great news about the New Horizons Probe.

This upside down snowman is fascinating to most people.

What is more amazing is that you can issue a command to a spacecraft travelling at a stupid speed. Wait a few hours for that command to get to the space craft and then as long again for the result to come back.

It makes scalelectrix look easy.
