Have you ever held a view that is not accepted as ‘main stream’, ‘cool’ or even ‘normal’?

I have lived on the comfortable edge of acceptable all my life, well humored but not necessarily grown up I enjoy life and the distractions both it and I can afford.

I have passed through my Mid-Life Crisis and successfully come out of the other end which I think now means I’m in a stage of life called ‘Age Denial’ or more accurately, “‘I think I’m still 30 and will continue to behave that way until my creaking bones and aching back say ‘enough! go sit down and have tea and cake!'”

This was of course my mid-life crisis . . .

Whilst I still enjoy riding it, these days its a fair-weather only pastime and then only to a destination that serves tea and cake!

Occupation – Something to do with IT and Communications and why this site is running on a Raspberry Pi. .  sad? I don’t think so.

Age –  Late mid-life 🙂

“I’m only here once“

Whilst that simple statement may be true, it has greater meaning and what it means is simply this:

I will not waste my time with negativity optimism may be unrealistic but there is a balance between that and always seeing the black side so why ruin your own life and that of those around you?

Q: Which Politician/political Party do you trust?

A: None – they’re all self-serving, lying people with no experience of the world they are trying to govern and thereby completely unqualified to do the job they have been ‘elected’ to do where elected means they got the greatest number of votes from the few that cast them which in total is far less than the majority of the population as a whole.

“Work”

Work hard – get paid well.

Don’t work hard – don’t get paid well.

“Social”

like pubs, the sort where you can have a conversation with your friends/family without having to shout over loud music and younger peeps being sick/fighting.
